About Me...

MarkHello, I’m Mark Reinert and I have a question for you.

When were you last given a good listening to?

You know, one of those times you felt taller afterwards.

This is the basis of my work.

Men often talk with me because of the depth of my experience

I've had a wide range of experience from corporate and nonprofit work, ranging from leadership in churches to leadership in the BDSM/leather/fetish community, and because of my extensive involvement with the intersection of men’s sexuality and spirituality through a variety of groups including the Body Electric School, Easton Mountain Retreat Center, the New School of Erotic Touch, Cuddle Party, Men’s Power Exchange and as lead coach for the Male Healthy Touch Club.

For over 20 years I’ve been helping men get more of what they want from life.

I love working with men helping them find their own truth. I support them in holding this truth in the face of challenge and even when they are alone in their belief.

I grew up barefoot, climbing trees and swimming with the wildlife in the Amazon rainforest. I now live in Boston where American and historic European culture meet. I love that within minutes I can be with the ocean or be lost in a city crowd. The harshness of four distinct seasons appeals to my sense of adventure and keeps me connected to the mystery and beauty of nature.

Early in my adult life I spent 12 years working with non-profit multi-cultural expatriate teams in some 20 countries on 4 continents. It was during this time that I discovered life coaching through my work in cross-cultural training, program management, crisis intervention, and spiritual guidance. As I sat with men working as expatriates, often under difficult circumstances in places as diverse as rural Pakistan, Germany's Black Forest, and shanty towns in Mexico, I learned how to have powerful conversations that helped men move forward into more joyful living and a more powerful and postive impact through their work.

Later I spent 12 years as part of a corporate management team responsible for quality assurance and training at the largest healthcare call center in Massachusetts. With over 10,000 calls a day coming in and over 150 people answering these calls, it was a constant challenge to ensure callers received timely, adequate and accurate help for senstive, often complex healthcare matters. Again, coaching, through listening and powerful questions, proved one of the most effective tools for ensuring quality of service in this complex and demanding environment.

In order to sharpen my skills, in 2010 I completed the coach training curriculum of the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), widely respected as the premier school for coach training. The co-active coaching model taught by CTI reflects the core values that I have been using in coaching for many years. I have also taken additional training through Coachville, a coach training school founded by Thomas J. Leonard the founder of life coaching as we know it today.

I have also studied sexuality extensively, including with the Body Electric School, Tantra Heart Kriya Yoga, and by studying the sexological bodywork curriculum with the New School of Erotic Touch. More than 6 years of leadership and actively mentoring others in the leather/fetish/BDSM community has also taught me a great deal about relationships and spirituality that applies much more widely.

What really matters, however, is what you get from working with me.

To find out, you can read about my work, or you can have a helpful, free conversation with me to experience it firsthand.

If you’re looking to grow, and get more of what you want in some area of your life, the Winnable Game Plan coaching session is available at no charge. It’s a powerful tool toward making sure you can get what you want most from life.

  • Go Ahead, Choose the Best Blueberries and the Best of Life

I just ate the biggest, juiciest best blueberry in the colander.  Perfect ripeness, juicy deliciousness, everything you want in blueberries.  This is notable because when I am with my family of choice in San Francisco I rarely, if ever, get “that” blueberry or even any of its close cousins.  Nine year-old Ariana LOVES blueberries and with the enthusiasm she the displays for everything she loves and enjoys she pulls the bowl of fresh washed berries over close to her at the breakfast and, berry by berry, finds the best this batch of blueberries has to offer.  She revels in e ...

  • We All Need Support

I am so aware these days of the need we all have for help and support in living our lives.  It is so sad that men in our culture are taught to tough it out, to go it alone, to never ask for directions, if you will. Life is too complicated to do alone, I believe. I have seen some men lately who come to coaching with a sense of defeat, They feel badly that they couldn't figure life out by themselves, and almost see hiring a coach as an admission of failure! I quickly reframe it for them as a victory. I say "Congratulations, you have just figured out one of the best kept secrets of life. Ha ...
