My role as a coach is to help you to do this listening, and from there to get you where you want to go.

My role as coach is a lot like that of a taxi driver. I’ll get you where you want to go. If some roads are closed, then I’ll tell you what the situation is and the best way to get there. Probably there are some shortcuts that I know about. The ride might be bumpy at a few points, but if it is, it’s for the purpose of helping you reach your destination.
