I live and work in Vancouver, British Columbia. I love my city and even with its many challenges I hold a great amount of hope here. I suppose this relates to why I'm coach too - everyone has challenges, but I hold an immense amount of hope and I know we can all rise to each occasion.
my life has been traveled much like a winding path. a path that led me into several areas of study, each corner bringing new pieces and yet no single destination has arrived. I am a lifelong learner. I will keep studying my passions, developing my skills and applying my learnings to help move me forward down the path.
I learned from a very early age just how unpredictable and out of my control life can be. this reality propelled my learning and developed my own skill set around adapting to change. So much so that now I look for change, I embrace it and flow with it. as the Tao Te Ching shares 'be the water of the river that flows around the blocks in its path'.
I feel pretty grateful every day, I've got work that I love, meaningful and growing relationships, food, clothing and shelter. Most of all though, I feel a deep desire to learn and experience as much as I can while I'm here.
Some of the passions I've cultivated so far include: music, both listening and creating, painting, running, drawing, writing, gardening, cooking, culture and language, human potential, mystical and spiritual studies, political and world currents, architecture/design, friendship, crosswords, hiking, driving, photography, entrepreneurship, understanding, physics, philosophy, psychology, cookies.
