WHY A DIRE NEED TO FOCUS ON OUR WELLNESS?
In this highly competitive, digital and disconnected times we live in, finding balance and connection to ourselves is increasingly harder. Inbalance in the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual realms of our existence often leads to pain, anxiety and disease. Unfortunately, most of us only realize this when we hit rock bottom: our bodies no longer function as expected, our minds are plagued with stress, our hearts feel disconnected.
WHY I BECAME A WELLNESS COACH?
I hit rock bottom 15 years ago. I was depressed, in shock with PTSD from living in war, paralized with degenerative disc disease, malnourished from chronic tropical diseases, and many of my fisiological functions had shut down.
WHAT IS WELLNESS COACHING?
The term 'wellness' refers to a general state of balance and connection of body-mind-Spirit. When we are IN balance, we live in more harmony with ourselves and what surrounds us. We take care of our bodies, feeding it the right types and amounts of foods and liquids to keep ourselves healthy. We keep the body healthy with the right amount of movement and exercise so our muscles and joints are free from pain and tightness. We are able to navigate life's ups and downs with more emotional ease and mindfulness. We are able to grow and sustain loving and caring relationships with ourselves and others. When we are OFF balance, a domino effect starts to happen and more and more of the components of our wellness fall apart. Wellness coaching aims to address all those imbalances through an integrated and holistic approach.
WHAT DOES MY WELLNESS COACHING PROGRAM ENTAIL?
My Wellness Coaching Program will help you find balance and wellness through an integrated and holistic approach. Depending on your specifc needs and imbalances, we will first identify and discuss the root causes of your imbalances. We will address your imbalances with a personalized holistic wellness program. To measure results, we will jointly set goals, milestones and indicators that will be reviewed once a month.
Your individual wellness program may include any/all of the following:
- Tools to adress imbalances in the physical body: mobility training, flexibility, strengthening/conditioning, functional yoga, therapeutic yoga, nutrition counseling, healthy lifestyle counseling
- Tools to address imbalances in the mind: breath work, mindfulness, meditation, stress reduction techniques, visualization, intention setting
- Tools to address imbalances in the heart: open hearted discussion, meditation, chanting, mantras
- Tools to address imbalances in Spirit: guided meditation, chakra cleansing, Yoga Nidra, astral projection, shamanic journeying
HOW DO WE WORK TOGETHER?
I am based in Midtown NYC (USA) but most of my clients are online from across the USA, Canada, UK and Spain. We work in blocks of 4 monthly coaching sessions. Our sessions last 60minutes. Once a month, we record our session so that you can practice to the video recording over the rest of the month. También podemos trabajar en Español.
